The purpose of the roundtable is to bring together representatives of local communities, civil society, and central-level institutions to discuss current human rights issues. Particular emphasis will be placed on the Law on Foreigners and the Law on Vehicles, including the provision effective as of 15 March the roundtable will address the issue of civil registration for individuals without Kosovo citizenship, as this process is closely linked to a range of other legal and practical challenges, and restrictions for vehicles with foreign license plates to a maximum of three months and prohibits driving vehicles based on authorizations. These measures have a disproportionate impact especially on the Serbian community.

Our aim is to assess how these processes have been implemented in practice so far, as well as to provide citizens with an opportunity to present the issues they face and have not been able to resolve.
